One such famous diamond is the “Heart of the Ocean”, which featured in the 1997 blockbuster “Titanic”. Later in the movie, when the Titanic is hit by an iceberg, Rose survives with the huge blue diamond in her pockets. Decades after sharing her story, she eventually decides to throw it in the ocean.

Interestingly, The Washington Times once said that the story behind the “Heart of the Ocean” is true to some extent, and the real rare blue diamond is still around somewhere today.
